  • To follow the norm staff of the departments, to inform the management in case of staff shortage, to make announcements and to forward the applications to the relevant academic units,
  • To prepare the announcement of the academic staff needed by the University and to have it published in the Official Gazette,
  • To carry out the process until the appointment decree in the academic staff recruitment process,
  • To follow the Professor and Associate Professor appointment procedures,
  • To follow the jury process in academic appointments,
  • To carry out the assignment processes of foreign faculty member/instructor and research assistant,
  • To ensure that the Rector, Dean, School and Institute Managers are renewed by following the appointment periods,
  • To assign academic staff according to Article 13/b-4 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.
  • Assignments of retired, freelance and other institutional employees to our University as paid lecturers in accordance with Article 31 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547,
  • Assignments in accordance with Article 40, paragraphs (a) and (d) of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 for courses given at our university and other universities,
  • Assignments in accordance with Article 89 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657 for courses given at the University and outside the University,
  • Follow-up of the assignment procedures in our university or other universities in accordance with Article 40 (b) of the Higher Education Law No. 2547,
  • To ensure that academic personnel information is kept up-to-date in the Higher Education Information System (YÖKSİS).
  • Processing the disciplinary proceedings of the instructors into the YÖKSİS system,
  • To ensure the adequacy of the number of academic staff (quorum distributions) in graduate programs,
  • To ensure that the results of the preliminary evaluation and entrance exams of instructors other than faculty members are followed and published on our University’s web page,
  • To carry out the processes regarding the service and work certificate requests of the academic staff,
  • To inform the faculty members who will apply for the UAK Associate Professorship about orientation and changes in the Associate Professorship regulations,
