Gold Medal Award for the Best University of the Year



Istanbul Arel University Cooking Program 2nd year students Cenker YAYLA, Büşra BEKAR and Efe YILMAZ were awarded the gold medal in the category of the best university of the year under the leadership of their teachers, Lecturer Nurgül Demet YORGAN and Lecturer Ezgi ACET at the 18th International İstanbul Gastronomy Festival.


The organization, which was held with the federations and associations of the world’s leading countries in the field of gastronomy, has been awarded the title of “Continental” by the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WACS) with successful organizations in the past, providing the student and young chefs of our country with the opportunity to compete at an international level.


The festival, which has made great steps in the integration of Turkish cuisine with world cuisine, will bring world tastes to Istanbul.
