Machinery Program

ACADEMIC

VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

The machinery sector is an important part of the engineering industry and one of the most important industrial pillars of the economic union. It would not be wrong to say that machine manufacturing, especially including design processes, is one of the areas where the added value is highest among the manufacturing areas. Because designing and uncovering a complete machine involves both knowledge-intensive engineering processes and manufacturing processes that require infrastructure, experience and precision related to many areas.

It is a simple fact that when a machine cannot be made or there is no machine, many industrial products cannot be made either.The goal of Machinery Program is to use all kinds of machines, to design and manufacture the machine parts that are the subject of manufacturing in the production areas related to them with computer aided design (CAD-CAM), provide maintenance, restoration and assessment, ensure quality control, train manpower who have knowledge about hydraulic and pneumatic systems, who gain knowledge and skills in material recognition and inspection (destructive and non-destructive), who will work on drawing machine manufacturing technical drawings and processing them using machining and chipless manufacturing methods on the relevant benches.

Job Opportunities

Graduates of the Machine Program can work in the fields of business tracking, quality control, process planning, thermal processing, control and automation, technical service and promotion.

Areas where graduates can work;

  • They can work in the programming and operation of CNC lathes/milling machines.
  • They can take part in the maintenance and repair of production machines.
  • They can be assigned to make layout plans of machines in factories.
  • They can collect the necessary data for a quality production and work on the implementation of quality control and Quality Management Systems.
  • By following the new technologies related to the sector in which they work, they can examine and apply their applicability to the business in which they are located.
  • They can take part in Production, Maintenance and Resource Planning systems.
  • They can be assigned to perform Energy Management of Factory Systems.
