Mission: The mission of the Software Engineering Department is to train Software Engineers who are specialized in the design, development, testing and maintenance of software systems, who can perform their profession in the national and international arena and who are competent to respond to the needs of the industry by transferring advanced theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Vision: The vision of the Software Engineering Department is to provide students with the necessary education to adopt ethical, cultural and social responsibilities in order to contribute to society by using the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to shape the future of the software engineering discipline together with leading technologies, innovative methods and cooperation.
