Tinnitus, hearing issues, tonsillitis, otitis media, pharyngitis, and rhinitis are a few of these. Diseases of the ears, nose, and throat can be brought on by allergies or infections (bacteria, fungus, viruses). Treatments vary depending on the type of disease.

In addition to general ENT, otolaryngology diseases seen in infants and children in the pediatric ENT department are treated with surgical methods (tonsil surgeries, adenoid surgeries and ear tube insertion).  Ear diseases can be listed as infections (external ear and middle ear), dizziness (vertigo treatment), tympanoplasty (tympanic membrane surgery), tinnitus treatment, hearing loss diagnosis and treatment (audiometry), Meniere’s disease, otosclerosis, cholesteatoma, excessive dirt formation in the ear, acoustic neurinoma, ear cold and fluid accumulation in the ear. Nasal diseases include chronic nasal congestion, sinus diseases, allergic and non-allergic rhinitis (catarrhs), nasal polyps, rhinoplasty (septorhinoplasty), loss of sense of smell, diseases and treatments of the nasal parts of the tear system, masses and tumors of the nose and adjacent regions, and malignant tumors.
